Gaming don’t stop with Parenthood
Some people say “Marrage is the end of Romance.”, or to a gamer “Marrage is the end of Game.”
There are evident which shows otherwise, that gaming is still alive and well with parenthood.
A study conducted by Peter D. Hart Research Associates, Inc., in November, 2005, sampled 501 nationally representative parents who have children between the ages of 2 and 17 in their households. The report was publish on Entertainment Software Association(ESA) on January 26, 2006.
The study indicates that 37% of the parents interviewed turns out to be avid gamers, among them 80% report that they play video games with their children, and two-thirds (66%) feel that playing games has brought their families closer together.
Maybe is about time we rethink the stereotyping notion of gaming industry as dominated by teens and single twenty-somethings.
